Since L3P was established in 1996, we have contributed to projects in every community in which we have undertaken developments across the country.
In 2008, to enable us to be more effective in this, we established The Children’s Development Trust charity and a fixed percentage of profit from every L3P development is donated to the organisation.
In 2011 and 2013, we ran the Music On the Hill festival in Kent that featured artists such as Jools Holland, Katherine Jenkins, McFly, The Vamps, Peter Andre and ABC, amongst many others and raised in excess of £120,000.
From 2015, we started a brand new project that now fulfils the majority of our charitable endeavours – YouCan Youth Cancer Support. From 2016 we are able to provide respite breaks for young people (10-30) and their families as well as workshops, counselling and other support and information programmes. We are backed by an advisory panel of oncology and paediatric consultants and specialists. A number of events are planned to raise funds and awareness. In 2018 we formally changed the name of the charity to You Can Youth Cancer Support – Registered Charity No, 1125389.
We’ve had incredible support from our professional team for which we would like to say a huge thank you!
